I'm happy to say that my one year old son is now trying to walk himself. Now he can stand up without any help. I'm very greedy to see how he would run here and their in our home. So friends what can do to help him for walking? I can bye a walker which allows him to walk without falling down, but I've heard that it causes make buckle legs. I don't know whether it is true or not. Except proving a walker if any method that will help him to walk, please let me know. thanks everybody in advance. (Than you rkrish for your reply, I re-submitted this because the previous topic was misspelled)

hi, i am happy to hear this. it is indeed a happy moment for you. allow him to walk him as he wants, but make sure that someone's near him always to prevent him from falling down and get hurt. once again congrats pgsp. happy mylotting. have a nice day!

Hi! We're on the same boat here. My daughter who is just 9 months is starting to walk as well. But I do not believe in walkers (the type with seat) coz I believe that it will only teach my child to tiptoe instead of stepping the entire foot and adjusting her steps according to the weight of her body. When my daughter was 7 months and she really loved jumping up and down, I bought her a Fisher Price Jumperoo de Luxe to strengthen her legs. She would spend an hour or so in a day on her jumperoo and it was like her exercise. Recently, I chanced upon one of Fisher Price's product called Walker to Wagon, it's a walker but it will train you child to walk without giving the chance to sit. With this, I believe that the child will learn how to step forward properly and not just cruise around in wheels and slumps to sit down everytime he's tired. You may want to check out the website of Fisher Price for these items. Hope this helps!

Hi! I checked this "Walker to Wagon". That is a nice toy. But it costs too much and perhaps it might not available here. However I'll find similar toy for my son. Thank you for spending your time to advice me. I hope that your daughter is a nice pink princess and lovely cute one. Have nice day...!

I always like those toys that they can push along. The ones that give them a little bit of something to balance off of but not enough to be dependant of it. They have a lot of really fun ones. My daughter use to have one that converted from a sit down toy to a crawl toy to a push along toy. It was kind of neat. Check out fisherprice.com and see what they may have.

Thank you dear babykeka for you advice. I checked fisherprice.com, wow .., there are lot of toys that would help infants to do many activities. But unfortunately we cant afford them and they are not available in my country. Happy Mylotting...
