Does anyone have any good tips for a natural mosquito repellant? Before I have used citronella but at the moment it just does not seem to be doing the trick, I want a natural remedy not any nasty chemical sprays. thanks

we are using bioneem, an organic insect repellant which comes from the neem tree. it is really effective.

It's not really a natural repellent, but Avon's Skin SO Soft keeps them away also, it does seem to attract moths though, lol. Good luck and I'll be watching as we are having trouble with EEE in our area so any ideas are great!

Thanks for your handy tip, I was looking more for something for the whole room though. What is EEE by the way? Thanks for your comments.

Eucalyptus oil is a good natural repellant for most insects. Garlic is also supposed to repel mosquitoes; a friend told me her uncle ate lots of garlic and was never bitten by mosquitoes. Of course, it may keep humans away, too!

I love garlic and would be happy with this solution, not sure my girlfriend would agree. I will give the Eucalyptus oil a go though, I already have an oil burner for the citronella oil so will change and see how it works - thanks.
