Accidents and coincidences

I have three children they have manged to scrape by in life mostly with the normal childhood accidents scraped knees and some bruises, except for once my son completely crushed his three fingers in a door when he was only 4 yrs old, that was terrible. He was in hospital for 3 days and he needed an operation, afterwards it took months of trips to the hospital before they had completely healed, he's 14 now and although they are disfigured he has full use of them but the odd coincidence was that my grandad, many years ago when my mum was a girl, had his three fingers completely off in a mining accident, exactly the same three as my son. The next one was my daughter the other week came in with her top front tooth in her hand and the next tooth to it, just the root was left in the socket so that meant a trip to the hospital and now we are seeing the dentist regularly for treatment, I have to take her back tomorrow because the tooth that was left in, is now going a grey colour so I think it's dying..so will find out more tomorrow what they will do but again the weird coincidence is that my daughters dad had his two front teeth knocked out when he was a child, from falling off his bike and had to have false ones. Do you have any stories about strange coincidences I'd love to hear them.

That is strange, I have heard a saying that goes "history repeats itself", I don't know if that can be related to these situations. My mother passed at the age of 31, 3 days before her 32nd birthday, I have always thought I wasn't going to live past my 31st birthday, but I did, however I had a cousin, which is my mothers niece, went missing and she was 31 at the time, when we found her body it was 3 days before her 32nd birthday. I never told anyone in the family about this similarity, why I don't know. I don't even know if they realize this. Or would understand the coincidence.

Hello Chevee, That is an odd coincidence, my mum lost her mum, she was only 3 at the time and my mum told me that she though shewould die when she reached the age her own mother had passed, funny how you should of felt the same.

I don't know how strange this is, but I have a scar on one of my knees where I fell off my bike when I was younger. I don't even remember if the scar is from a part of the bike gouging into my knee, or if it was a rock. Anyway, my mom has a scar on one of her knees,in the same area. I don't remember what she told me about how she got the scar.

Yes I count that as been the same as my kids and coincidences, makes you think well it does me if there's more to this world than we see, thanks a lot for sharing that with me.
