this issue is very much taken into consideration for this really affect the economy of every country and the whole world as a whole, population has risen to its very high note reaching more than 8 billion people by the year 2010 if i'm not mistaken, this population explosion is now being address by government, but religious groups are very much opposing this move, citing that birth control is not humane and a violation of human rights. added unto this are the negative effects of contraceptive pills, are there no other method to be used if contraceptive pills are giving you this negative side effect? are you in agreement with the government stand or on the religious side opposing this issue and what method do you suggest best to address the issue concerning birth control..

I am on my own side. I do not think birth control should be pushed on anyone unless they want it. I am one do to medical reasons my doctors will not prescribe birth control to me. So I am for what ever the woman wants to do. It's her body and her decision the government should play no part in telling someone wether they can or can not have children and a good majority of the population if the government looked into it is the elderly because of the baby boomers and on top of that people live a lot longer these days.

I think we should all leave this issue to the couple 9husband and wife), since they are the one who will suffered for any decisions and consequences of their choices. Maybe what the government and church can do is to really give information and education to the couples. In this way they will know what will be the best thing for them, and for the future and welfare of their family.

i do agree also with you friend, maybe what the government and the church should do with this issue is to stop their endless bickering and come up with the common ground and the thing you have said is the one i think is the most probable solution for this case.neither the government nor the church should decide what is good for the couple in making such decision, the only thing which they can do best is to educate their people with the pros and cons of the issue of having small or big family,,and i believe that couple will learn a lot through this scheme.thanks friend for that response..

I dont think birth control is against all christianity... i just think some of the more strict churches believe that... but in today society people need to be more concious of how many kids are being born and stuff.. i dont think the government should have a say in someones personal decision.. if they can care for the children properly then who is to say they cant have them

very well said, you mean if you can afford having more children, why not...but of course this will again be an issue of impartiality if this system is adopted...but giving the government the full power to dictate the number of children a family must have is really in contradiction to human right issue...

I dont believe that population growth is the source of all problems.. We are poor not because we are many, but we are many because we are poor.. the government should focus on the real cause of our misery and cease to employ its artificial method since it is contra-life.
