some people say, well most of them really say that it is better to read the book series of harry potter instead of watching the film because you can imagine more especially in the magical moments of the story. well most of my friends suggest that i should read the book of harry potter because my mind has better imagination than the director, that is what they say.... do books really have the power to augment our imagination?

Hi there jamesnogra! I love reading. It is one of the interests that I have since I was very young. I learned how to read at an early age. Since then, I never have stopped reading. I do agree that reading improves one's imagination. I personally have a very strong imagination. When I was in grade school, I read much of Nancy Drew and I have always imagined myself as Nancy Drew. When I read, I always make my imagination work. Fortunately, it always does!

yes in case of Harry potter and in many other cases also that is true. When you compare books and the movie, book always is rated higher. But have you seen the movie, The client, it was a beautifully made movie and so is Beautiful mind...........all that a human mind can imagine cannot be filmed... so hence u cannot expect it either..................
