Now that oil has dropped to $96 a barrel what will happen to our gas prices?

Crude oil hasn't been this since April when - I believe - we weren't quite paying $3+ at the pump yet. Do you think we will see some relief at the pump or do you think prices won't drop below the $3 mark regardless of how cheap crude is?

I sure hope so, but I doubt it, greed is too strong when it comes to fuel..

I believe that consumers will start to demand to know why gasoline is so high with crude prices down like they are. I believe that we will see a drop to below $3.00 a gallon soon. I don't think that we will see much lower until something happens to make these companies understand that we are tired of the prices that we are paying and we figure out a way to hurt their profits by not consuming so much oil.

Its my guess that very little will happen.. maybe a token gesture of a few pence (or cents depending on where you live) Its always the same, - a raw material goes up in price.... all its products rise proportionately more: raw materials go down and the product price falls proportionately less. Take heart from the fact that you could be paying £1.12 per litre
