O.J. Simpson's angry voice rang out in a Las Vegas courtroom today as a prosecutor opened the fallen gridiron great's robbery trial by playing an audiotape of the hotel room confrontation at the heart of the case. The profanity-laced tirade, one of several audiotapes that will be played for jury, opened the trial of Simpson and co-defendant Clarence "C.J." Stewart. Prosecutors say the tapes will show that the armed confrontation was planned in detail including the use of guns. If you were on the jury could you set aside knowledge of the other trials and be an impartial juror?

You are expected to do so. I think the jurors have a responsibility to put on a fresh mind and try to consider only the evidence before them. It is very important that all the T's are crossed and the I's dotted. Otherwise, the guy just gets off. So, a juror's got to at least manifest all outward signs of impartiality or the system doesn't work.

I could not be impartial because I do believe in the first trial that he got away with murder.. I believe he murdered two people in the most horrendously imaginable way.. He butchered two people.. He even smiled in the courtroom so many times as if he thought that everyone was going to be swayed by his charisma and charm.. He is a murderer and I could not be impartial.. I do hope he is found guilty in this trial because if he isn't there will be no stopping him, he will know that because he is OJ, he can get away with anything.. And he will do what he wants, again and again no matter who gets hurt, he needs to be stopped..

It would be hard but I would be able to do it. He needs to learn that just because he is a celebrity somewhat that he cannot get away with stuff.
