Yesterday I was lazy. I lay around cuddling kittens (we are fostering 3 kittens until they are old enough to be adopted) and watched nature shows on Animal Planet. It was a pretty good day, lions and tigers and bears, oh my. This guy who was killed by bears a few years back actually has a show on now, they're showing his footage posthumously. Amazing how close he got to a family of foxes and I know it's just a trick of the photography, but it looks like he's right up beside the bears. Then there were several shows in a row of people who had some narrow brushes with death due to getting too close to boas, swordfish, lions, tigers, bears, poisonous snakes, rhinos, elephants, cape buffalo (you'd be grouchy too if you were being mauled by lions), sharks, crocodiles and even a giant octopus! Amazing! Don't suppose I'll ever get out and actually DO any of that, but incredible to watch. Anybody else like watching this stuff? Or other educational shows?
