I had an idea for a discussion when I was at lunch. When I was walking back I totally forgot what it was. Then I remembered again. But that's not what I mean by "show your age". lol
Show your age by telling me what you remember. I remember:
The firefall at Yosemite National Park
Penny bubblegum really being a penny
Women with big hairdos
Dawn dolls (well I WOULD remember that)
Nickel ice cream at Thrifty drug store
Busch Gardens in the SF Valley before they moved to Florida
When the Matterhorn bobsled ride was the only rollercoaster at Disneyland
When we called Beijing Peking
The Beatles before they broke up
Probably a lot of other things.
Now you go...

LOL -- great discussion!!
I remember:
* rotary telephones & when NOBODY had a cell phone
* when you called companies and got in touch with a human and not a million prompts
* (vaguely) when remote controls actually had CORDS!
* when gas and 2-liters of soda were both under $1
* playing Atari!
Hmmm... hope mine are not too boring!

Very good topic. What I remember, hmm. That would have to be :
1. I remember life before microwaves. Everything was heated up stove. Or eaten cold the next day.
2. I remember Shawn Cassidy and Love Boat.
3. I remember 'Atari' and Ms.Pacman was the game to heave.
4. I remember when the movie 'Jaws' was the scariest movie ever made. I don't think I went swimming all summer that year.
5. I can remember when tv was black and white. Noone ever heard of a remote.
6. I remember bicycle having banana seats. It wa snothing to see more than one person on a bike.
7. I owned Big Wheel and wanted to be a Solid Gold dancer.

Oh yeah, the Mary Tyler Moore show. I almost forgot all about that til you mentioned it.I have notice that some actors have gone from total geek/nerd to be a total hunk. Those actors are truely actors in my book. As they can play different roles easily.
