When hunters die....

I read the obituaries and the newspaper. I sometimes feel bad for people who have died until I read the words...avid hunter. That does it for me and all the sympathy drains from my body and I think good Karma has bit him in the as$! Am I alone in this or do others lack sympathy for animal murderers?

Regardless of how you feel about hunters, there is no reason to think haha at the loss of any ones life. So do you feel the same about all people whom slaughter animals such as beef slaughter or hog slaughter houses? While I am sure you are not alone in these feelings the loss of a human life is so much more valueable than that compared to that of a deer whom may be feedings ones family.

I don't think haha at anyone's life including animals. We are all entitled to life and I personally would never be able to take one's life. I think it takes a certain personality to kill animals and I would never be one.

I fell that if we hadn't eliminated the natural predators from the envornment, hunting wouldn't be so necessary. But since we've taken them out of the mix, we now have more white tailed deer than when when white men came to the Americas. I don't view hunters as animal murderers, I realize that they have to keep the secies healthy and since we have killed off the pumas and wolves that used to keep the numbers reasonable we have to now fufill that role as well.

I think humans are the root of a lot of problems. Around here they have built subdivisions where there once was forest and now the deer are in gardens where they once lived and the people who built in the deers habitat get peeved off and want to kill the deers. Makes me think the deer should want to hate us too.

Hi whywiki, I am not a hunter and would never intentionally harm an animal. At the same time I do eat some meat, so I feel that I can't really condemn those who hunt, unless of course they hunt only for pleasure. Blessings.

Yes pleasure hunters are the ones that bother me. I just don't see the pleasure in taking another creature's life. I don't even kill spiders!

It depends on your definition of murder. No matter the kind of sympathy you have for animals, God created them to serve as food for man and this largely explains why animals are not killed for sports where i come from. You only kill that which you will eat.

Well I don't believe in god either so....but I am glad that hunting for sport isn't the way it is done in your country.

I agree with you whywiki! I'm sorry! I can't feel bad for someone who purposely goes around killing animals no matter what the reason they claim! I just don't feel that it is the right thing to do. I just can't have sympathy for them. I don't want to hear about overpopulation or any of that crap. I just don't buy into any of that and never will. When I see an animal strapped to the hood of a hunters car I want to do the same to them! I just can't deal with it! I am an avid animal lover and I feel that animals don't have a voice and we have to speak for them! That is why I am a PETA and Humane Society advocate! I just will not tolerate hunters who find pleasure in killing for the sake of their own sick pleasure!

Thank you for understanding me. I was beginning to think that maybe I was the only one that felt that way and I too feel the same way when I see a poor animal strapped to a hood. The thing that really makes my blood boil is when animals are killed for parts and the rest is left in the woods to rot. Then there is the real men that have to hang the antlers around so we know how masculine he is! I say he but I guess some females are just as guilty. People may badmouth PETA but I think they do a lot of good. Thank you for helping those that can't speak for themselves.
