Do you go to church every Sunday?

Lol, in my experience simply attending church each Sunday doesn't make a good Christian. I have seen too many sinners in there who go straight out and screw over the next person. I am religious and we do attend church regularly. However, between my childhood and becoming a parent there was a long stretch of irregular to no attendance. We only started again once we had children, because here in the US there is no other way to let your children have a Christian education and learn about God and religion. Well, you could do it yourself, but my knowledge of the bible is limited and I'm a very impatient teacher. I also like the fact that the church we attend is relatively small. The sense of community is much greater than in the big church I attended as a child. This is more like an extended family really. People take care of each other. Anyhow, my childhood church coincidentally was a catholic church. Eventually I found out how less than holy the catholic church behaved in its history. I stopped going. I couldn't live with the claim that our priest had of being unfailable. He wasn't exactly sporting a spotless soul either, lol. His vanity for example was second to none. Our new church is not catholic btw but still mainstream.
