when i was born i was just delivered at our house by my mom

im living in the province, and no hospital only a center, so my mom says when i was delivered into this wonderful yet hard world, she just give birth to me at our small house,and no doctor on her side, only a HILOT, its a midwife in a province but dont have license, so im just wondering how do they get it happen, why not the pregnant moms always wants to go to the hospital even when its just ok in our own house, less expenses,lol

hey punkix what do you expect from the place im living into??im here in the province,lol, dont worry when you get married and have your wife pregnant why not try her deliver just at home,lol

Congrats to you! But for those of us that live in a city with a hospital, I think the majority of us of there, feel better at a hospital. Some of us are not so brave and feel more relaxed and comfortable in a hospital. That way in case something happens we know there will be a doctor there that can take care of us. I had my doctor with me in the hospital for my first child and a mid wife in the hospital with me for my second. The doctor was near by in case of an emergency. Of course it's helpful that we had insurance to help pay for it. By best friend had to have cesarian (not sure if I spelled that correctly) for both of her pregancies - there is no way that could have been done in her home.

i just think, sister also was ceasarian, when she give birth to her two cute babies, and of course it was done in the hospital, maybe at the time i was born the hospital her are not trend,hahahah

hi carmela I was born in the same house i grew up in and delivered by myown dad, the town and countrys only doctor.
My mom told me I was born in the afternoon so she did not'loose any sleep over me. lol. My dad did have a small hospital building with places for several patients but my mom wanted to have me at home. I thought that was sort of neat. she had no complications either.
