How soon we all forget

I am doing this as my own little protest against the mudslinging going on. It's done all in fun.. but all the same I HAVE to do it. I am not intending on starting an all out war, so please be nice. It's all in fun.. really. If you are going to be mean or attack me or others, please don't respond. I do want to hear from all parties that you all represent. I want to see how many of you can think of some "mud" that has been slung (whether it was proven true or not) or some of the ludicrous statements of our PAST (NOT PRESENT) congress/candidates/presidents/vice-presidents. My favorite ludicrous statements are "Read my Lips, no new Taxes" "It isn't pollution that's harming our environment. It's the impurities in our air and water that are doing it." "Those who survived the San Francisco earthquake said, 'Thank God, I'm still alive.' But, of course, those who died, their lives will never be the same again." "I did not inhale" "I did NOT have s e xual relations with that women", and "It all depends on what your definition of 'is' is" Those all make me laugh to this day. (bonus points if you can name the less obvious ones ) What people tend to forget is that every person running office will do or say anything to get themselves elected They make mistakes, they abuse their power AND they hope they can get away with it. So please, be nice, have fun and share with me things from PAST elections/candidates, members of office...etc Please NOTHING about THIS election, I am sick of hearing it, as are others.
