well in love, it does not matter but in relationship it does. its a different world with love and relationship and we must respect their privacy and characteristics. money has a great effect in relationship because even if we are in a relationship, we are still people that has our personal dreams, we do not want to be spending too much for someone coz we have oursleves to take care of too. and my dad once said, "if you do not have money, love will go out the window." it affects everything; your pride, freedom, choice, etc. it is important in relationship but it should not be always the basis for everything.

Yes it is actually important. You cannot say that money is not important especially in a serious relationship (which I assume you have planned on a marriage) and I think people just don't mention it too much because money is a sensitive problem. People keeps avoiding the money talks because for some people talking about the money makes them uneasy and uncomfortable. Personally, I don't mind having a relationship with people with no money, as long as they have the skill and the willingness of trying to improve themselves to be someone better. Money can be obtained from hardwork, but people with no willingness to work hard would only able to spend the money without knowing how to get them back.
