Every Christmas Eve, my family would have dinner out to celebrate my sister's birthday because her birthday is on the 24th. After that, we go to my dad's mom's house to meet with all our relatives on his side of the family. We would have a small Christmas play put together by our cousins and younger nephews and nieces. Then, at around 12AM, we exchange gifts and greet each other a Merry Christmas. For lunch on the 25th, my family goes to my mom's mom's house to meet with her side of the family. We meet up with them, have lunch and then exchange gifts. In the afternoon, we would usually to mass. That's how we usually celebrate our Christmas.

We have several family dinners - my family has 2, and my husband's family. There is also an extended family Christmas Eve event and Christmas morning breakfast with my cousins. It is a busy week, but we look forward to it.

Every Christmas time, we used to always attend the family reunions happening in the province; particularly consisting of relatives in my mother's side. Until now, it's still a tradition in our clan. But sad to say, ever since I got married, our holiday seasons are spent and divided between going to my parents and to my in-laws. Say, if we celebrate Christmas with my parents, we'd certainly be with my in-laws during the New Year. I find it quite more expensive and exhausting since me, my husband, and our daughter make a lot of trips to and from her grandparents. For this holiday season, I have a feeling that it will be quite different because I guess by that time, either I'm totally displaced from my present job or we're going to be so busy wrapping up the business. So, I still haven't made any plans for this year because I'm still not sure of what's happening next in our lives, because of this status of my job. All my life it's been so hectic during these times in our families. I do hope that someday, when we finally have our own house and parcel of land in the province, we'll be able to spend some solemn family time with only me, my husband, and our daughter during Christmas. Or for a change, it could also be that our relatives will be the ones to visit us in our own house during holiday season.

Why do you use double question marks?? Do you know how "??" actually "sounds" like?? We don't have our plans yet. My sister is a medical technologist and my brother is a nurse. I don't know if they will HAVE to attend to their duties at that time. That's why we can't plan that far ahead. I think they'd rather have their duties on Christmas than on New Year since there'd be less work in Christmas. I'm hoping we can go out of town but even I already have work... I miss school

Every year, on the 24th, we have a family dinner in my mom's side. that's where we have our yearly exchange gifts. The next day, we spend with my husband's family. It's really very tiring actually and I am wishing that one day, we will beablet o spend Christmas for OUR family alone.

I have lots of plans on Christmas. First is because my daughter's birthday falls on the day right before Christmas. So I prepare for the birthday party and then for the Christmas Eve. Christmas is a very enjoyable feast for us. My husband has a big family and they all celebrate in the house of my in-laws where we also stay. Usually the girls prepare a meal of each kind for the Christmas dinner. As of now, I still don't have a recipe that I will be doing for Christmas. I want it to be special.
