i think shivering occurs when you are having a spike of temperature and when your are exposed to a cold environment...but if it is like in your situation,it is most likely you are 'panicked' every time you come across with the emergency thing...don't worry, this is actually a normal thing. i did have this feeling too before, but i had overcome it by keep myself busy and ensure i am not alone ( i called up some friends of mine to accompany me).

i think shivering are our muscles or body reaction when exposed to cold temperature, nervousness, tension and pressure sometimes, the remedy of course depend on what kind of exposure you are into..let say cold weather for this case there are many list of things that can alleviate such shivering, take a blanket, jacket or sweatshirt, drink hot coffee, tea, or milk, take a hot soup and don't expose yourself in open, if you have a girl or boyfriend its time for a big hug..to nervousness, tension or pressure i think thats normal to shiver sometimes as the bodies natural reaction to it..the remedy is just be cool, relax and learn to master your fear and nervousness, and dont put yourself on too much pressure and tension...medicine try some that makes muscle to relax ask your doctor or pharmacist about it
