Though I am not a person to eat alone, I am uncomfortable having strangers eating with me. I go by intuition and situation then. Depends what my first impression about the stranger is, how the stranger approaches you. There are many factors which affect my decision. Everything being positive, I would not mind.

Well, it depends on the situation. When there are no more seats available I might let him sit with me, but if there are still some other place to sit, I would let him sit and I would move to another place to show him that I am not interested to make any contact. When there are more seats available but I am in a bad mood situation, I would leave my food and let him sit. When my mood is good, I would let him sit and start a conversation.
I don't know, it all depends on the situation when it happens, there would be many possibilities :)

As much as possible, I don't like when a stranger will sit with me while I'm eating alone. It's for security purposes. The fact that I don't have any background about that person, it would be better to be safe. I would also feel very uncomfortable that's why I would rather eat alone than with a stranger. I know that I could win a friend out of a stranger but I guess I would do that if I am not alone.
