I heard on the radio that about 80% of people only do laundry when they run out of clean underwear! LOL do you fall into that group? I work from home, so it is pretty easy for me to throw in a load while i am working.

Although I've done that in the past, I'm really pretty good about keeping up with the laundry and making sure that it gets done all the time. I hate running out of clothes so I try not to. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

If all of my knickers were in the washing basket then I would be really mad,no way could I ever let the washing slide like that, even when I was working full time I managed to keep the laundry up together,it does itself once the load is put in,all we have to do is shut the door and press the button, hope the day will neve r come that I will see an empty knicker drawer.

I don't consider myself a crisis manager when it comes to doing laundry. I keep up with it real well. The first time I wouldn't have clean underwear for my husband, I would hear about it. I do most of my work at home so it's easy to wash as I work at the computer. Just means running a few extra steps but I can use the exercise.

LOL. Yes, I am in that 80% and the reason for that is that I live in an apartment complex whose washers and dryers are operated on a prepaid card instead of cash. Unfortunately, the machine to load the card is in the office and the office is usually only open the hours that I work. If I can remember, I leave money for my son to load on to it when he comes home from school, otherwise I'd be living in dirty clothes all the time. Grrrrr....

Hi cher913. No, I don't think I wait to do my laundry until I run out of underwear. How silly! Can't believe there are people that really do that. I usually do mine every week to 10 days, once the hamper is full. By that time, I know I've got either 2 or 3 loads to do, which is the most I want to do at one time.

Hi cher. I work out part time and my laundry is up to date LOL. I always do my laundry once a week (twice if I have much dark clothes to wash) and it keep all the things OK. It is easy to put the clothes in the laundry machine when doing anothers things. Cheers and have a nice day.

Since it's just Hubby and I, I usually only do laundry about once a week and then it's just a medium size load. Because of that we rarely run out of any type of cloths...though if I've been doing alot of outdoor work I may run out of clean t-shirts b/c I can't stand wearing a shirt with dirt and stains all over it. Hi Doll nope not me..got a drawer full of clean ones. I don't like to let it pile up so I keep on top of it. While raising a big family it was necessary to keep it up! xoxoxoxoxoxo

That is funny. Can't say that I only do a wash when we have no underwear BUT I do crisis manage my ironing! I only iron when hubby has no ironed shirts for the next day ... then end up standing up till midnight ironing all the clean ones that are handing there just waiting for him to wear them. Different strokes for different folks I guess? Violetdreams

I am not working now, so my laundry is kept up. I was laid off from my job, and do not have a washer at home. I hand wash the clothes each day, so there is no pile up. When I was working at had to take the laundry out to a laundry mat, I would sometimes wait until my husband started screaming that he had no clean underwear. I could never understand that, because underwear are so easy to wash out after removing them. I never believed in piling up a bunch of dirty drawers Wear them, take them off wash them, you will never be caught with no underwear because they are dirty. Have a great day.
