Want Congress to lower gas prices and explore other ways to get energy for our country? Here is a petition to sign. Here is what it says.
We, therefore, the undersigned citizens of the United States, petition the U.S. Congress to act immediately to lower gasoline prices (and diesel and other fuel prices)* by authorizing the exploration of proven energy reserves to reduce our dependence on foreign energy sources from unstable countries.

Esterlou I will not sign the petition because I do not think we need to drill for oil. I think we need to find other renewable sources of fuel instead of fossil fuel. I respect your opinion, I just disagree with you.

I agree...we need to find new sources, but while we are waiting around to do that, our country...factories, businesses, etc. run on oil and we need that now. So...we need both!

I am a Canadian, and I will be unable to sign the petition, but for all you Americans here, please sign. It will be more effective coming from you. I looked at the petition and I wish there was a section where you all can tell how badly the cost of gas has effected you in a negative manner. I wish that drilling and uncapping those wells will start soon and you no longer have to deal with countries that support terrorism.
