Do they fight???

no my dog and cat dont fight. but it seen in the favorite cartoons tom and jerry

My cat and dog tussle a bit from time to time, but they are pretty good friends in reality. The cat will sometimes raise his paw to the dog when it gets too rough but he never hisses at him. He is a sweet boy, and the dog knows he shoudlnt go too far with the playing. I think he does harass the cat too much though.

If you have the dog and the cat at a young age they learn to socialise together and won't fight. Your case that your cat is aggressive towards your day maybe because your cat was at your home previous than your dog. She is territorial and bossy.

I can't quite work out whether they love or hate each other. The cat is 3 and the dog has only been with us a few months. At first she (the cat) clouted him on his nose and he left her alone, but bit by bit, he's been aggravating her, following her, pouncing on her, grabbing her by the scruff of the neck. Now you might think well, what's to work out - they hate each other, but hang on, because the next day or even the next hour, they are laying next to each other sleeping soundly or even better, they are licking each other's faces! Like I said, I can't quite work it out!

I don't have either now, but I used to live with 3 cats and I would foster dogs. Well, I brought home this huge Rottie once and the first thing one of the cats did was jump on the counter, hiss, and scratch her on the butt.The Rottie didn't care at all. I don't think she even felt it. So, the cats would try to fight with her, but she would just wag her little tail stump.
