10. Ringu,9. Jaws,8. Poltergeist,7. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre,6. Carrie,5. Les Diaboliques,4. Rosemary’s Baby,3. Psycho,2. The Exorcist,1. The Shining.
This is the list from listverse.com I don't necessarily agree with this. I think it leaves off some greats. Like the original Halloween, for instance. Too many good ones to list off. And I don't consider JAWS a horror movie.
