Have you seen the previews for "Fireproof" movie? Are you planning on seeing in when it comes to the theaters? I can't wait to see it on DVD. It sounds like a very good movie. If you haven't seen the previews, do a google search for "Fireproof" movie. You can see a trailer for it. How long does it take for a movie to get on DVD after it's in the theater?

My husband and I just went to see this movie the other day. It was absolutely awesome! I can't stop thinking about it, even several days later. I was never a huge Kirk Cameron fan and thought the Left Behind movies that he was in were terrible(probably because I read the books first), but he really outdid himself this time. Make no mistake, it is a Christian based movie-they make that perfectly clear-which is why all the non-Christians are calling it a pile of crap. When we left the packed theater there were so many people crying and commenting on how good it was! I would love to see it again and plan on buying it when it comes out on DVD. If you liked Facing the Giants, you will love Fireproof. Please, if you have the means, go see it in the theater. Not only is it a better viewing experience, it also sends a message to hollywood telling them that Christian movies are in demand. I don't know about you but I am sick of all the garbage we are shown in movies and tv.

I agree with you on that. It's hard to find good movies to watch at home. This is one I would love to see. I haven't see all of the Left Behind movies. Just the first one. I saw Facing the Giants and love it. Can't wait to see this one. Thank you for your reply.

I am going to wait until it comes out on DVD to try and get it. My boyfriend has a netflix account so he can keep an eye out for when it becomes available. I Think this will be a great movie. I mean Kirk doesn't do too much anymore so to see him again in a major movie would be great and from what I've seen the story line is amazing too.

I do want to make time to go see the movie with my husband and hopefully some other couple from our church. Heard it's very good.
My friend also had and idea that when it does come out on DVD, buy those to use as wedding gifts. that sounds really great to make a date night basket as a gift.
Now it's just making room in the schuedule and finding a sitter so we can enjoy.
I believe the same people also made the movie "Facing the Giants", it's a football movie, but also very very good. I haven't seen that yet either. Hopefully this winter I can get caught up on my movie watching.

I have seen the previews. I also watched Dr Phil the day he had the star of the movie on his show and they showed lots of clips from the movie. It looks really good. I doubt that I will be able to see it in theatres since i have two small children but I do want to watch it.
