WHAT'S YOUR EXPERIENCE DREAMING OF DECEASED LOVES ONES?

I posted a question earlier asking if anyone has ever dreamed of a deceased love one, feeling it could be a mode of communication to you, the survivor. If this HAS happened to you, please share your experience. I will be the 1st to answer. I DID lose a loved one, my father, in 1984. I never believed in the dead can contact the living; however, I HAVE had dreams of him where all the theme is always the same: he's letting me know he's happy & that I will be ok. They always seem to be dreams of encouragement. What do you think?

When my mother passed away, I had a dream in which I received a telephone call from her. The interesting thing was, although we were "talking" on the telephone in the dream, I could also see her. She looked wonderful, much like she did prior to the terminal illness. Our "telephone" conversation was filled with joy and laughter, and she was telling me she was all right, she was happy, and she would be fine and not to worry. Thinking of that makes me smile. Thank you for posing the question.

Thank you for stating it made you smile. I am sorry you too lost a parent & am glad to hear, tho, you state you smiled at recalling your dream. I like to think on your behalf you too were 'alerted' the same way I was. May this be a comfort for us both & glad to hear you can smile. I too can now.
