Hi everyone, I'm ebaying alot today and I'm having an issue that I can't fix. I'm hoping one of you can direct me so that I don't have to ask ebay for help. In my listings, when you start an ad-- down in the bottom is a return policy. I DO have a default policy on all my listings that automatically pops up when i do each listing. However, i want to edit that policy. All day today, I've had to manually edit the policy each time I list something. I thought when you changed things in that box, it automatically updated it in all future listings, but I guess it doesn't. I typed my policy some time ago, and now ebay's layout is changed and I can't seem to find where I put my policy and I can't change the default. Does anyone know how to do that? Isn't it in the seller section? i've looked and looked and can't find it. Giving me a big headache!

It should be on the page where you determine your starting price then shipping costs. At the bottom. Now you got me wondering...I'll have to go check! LOL But that is probably where you are talking about doing it every time. Oh are you saving it atr you update it? Dumb question I know but sometimes we overlook the small things. Glad you're doing good on there today! Good Luck

Well, the box is below the starting price-- but it seems like every time I edit it in that box, on my next listing the changes aren't in there. I don't know why! I found a way around it though, I created a template with one of my listings and now it's updating on that one every time... I have no idea why it's not working in every listing though. I'm about to remove the entire return policy and call it a day. LMAO!

I suggest you try to email customer support or check in the forums. They used to have a forum where you could ask a question like this and a moderator or another experienced eBayer would give you the answer you need. I think you can even subscribe to the forum, so you'll know when someone has replied to your question. Good Luck!

I did try their forums, but noone had posted a question like mine, and I didn't bother posting one. Some of the answers people were getting on there for other questions seemed sorta mean, so I was afraid to ask. LOL :) I'll see if I can find a place to email customer support though, maybe they can help me. Thanks for your suggestion!

you can revise all your item description and also update/edit your return policy and handling easily with a third-party utility at http://baywares.com. The software is eBay certified and works really well. See their feedback at: http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?SolutionsDirectory&subgroup=2&page=details&solutionid=8225
