Have you ever experience it? Please share your experiences. Even today some people still believe that it has something with demons and paranormal.
Almost every time I experienced sleep paralysis it was after a lucid dream. I heard that people often have hallucinations or hear weird noise during sleep paralysis. I'm damn glad I don't because it's pretty scary even without it. I remember I woke up once after a bad nightmare and I was paralyzed. I couldn't scream so I was breathing like a maniac and I hoped that someone will wake me up. Now I'm pretty used to it and I just tell myself to calm down and that the moment will pass even tho it seems forever. Also focusing on moving specific body part (for example one finger) could help you break free of paralysis.

I was actually just learning aboout the in by biopsych class. My prof was giving us the whole run down on what causes this and what goes on with our brain chemistry atthe time. Some of the causes include sleep deprivation, increased stress, and yes lucid dreams; furthermore halucinations are symtoms just as paralysis. since it is a temporary imbalance of the brain chemistry there are treatments for this if it continues to other you.

I know there are treatments but it doesn't really bothers me because it's rare that I experience it and when I do even tho I'm scared I kinda like it because it's interesting.
