How profitable is Squidoo?

I looked at this site a while back & I just kind of forgot about it.. but now, now i feel i'm ready to try this sucker out! The way it works I can see how people can make an ever-flowing amount of money. .just by well, almost doing nothing! 
Supposedly you make a "lens" about whatever it may be and just like every other gosh-darn site that pays you a portion, they make money from "adsense revenue" whether it be from Google Adsense or another provider. So basically, my question to all you who use it.. how much do you make on a monthly basis & how long did it take to get to that point?

Hi, I have a couple of squidoo lenses that I made just to play around with, I haven't really made any money off them yet.
They are really easy to make and you are up and running in minutes. Revenue can come from ebay, orbitz travel, amaxon, netflix and more.
I keep meaning to have a more serious go at this to make some cash but never get around to it.

The more lenses you have the more money you can make.
I currently have 140 lenses and last month I made $80.

I just checked out your link to your Squidoo lens about promoting your Squidoo lens. Your lens is great. Very useful. I just started on Squidoo and I'm not really sure what "favoriting a lens" means or how to do so, so I bookmarked your lens for future reference.

I've decided that it isn't really. There are better ways to do similar stuff to what squidoo lets you do and it's much more profitable.
