Table or a bed while reading or writing

I have seen my son to avoid a table and a chair when he takes to study. Instead, he prefers a bed to stretch himself with one pillow placed beneath his chest and with the books above. I do not understand if he can concentrate in that way better. For me it is quite different. I like my table and a wooden chair of course. It is enough, and I should say, very good for reading and writing. What is your choice and why ?

When i dun have a bed, i will prefer to study on it.. But when i have a bed, i will choose to study on a proper table and chair instead.. lol The reason?? Because most of my frenz will study on their bed, as it's comfortable, and thus i wanna try, but i dun have a bed.. haha =D But once i have a bed, i dun like the feeling on studying on it, because it makes me feel very warm, and thus, i was having back ache, as well as cramps on my hands.. lol =D Since then, i truly realise the actual purpose of proper table and chair for studies and bed for sleeping.. lol

hmm, if I am writing I prefer to write at the table in that way, I can write quite easily. However, If I am reading or studying I prefer to be at bed, don't know but for me, it was more relaxing and can concentrate more that way.

When i am reading or writing i like to sit in my bed. I write a lot and i dont want my back to start hurting from bending over at the table. my bed is against the wall so i can lean on that and put a pillow in my lap and it feels so good. I also like to have music playing, and no one talking to me. For some reason tables just make me very restless

Gotta be bed...nothing better than getting snug and cosy under the covers and letting your imagination run away with you with a good book.

Funny u should ask this now coz i have been thinking about getting a desk in my room due to the fact sitting on the bed is horrid. I'm constantly losing my pen and i keep falling asleep. My choice desk!

When I was a teenager this was how I was most comfortable as well when I had school work to do , now as an adult if I want to read I still prefer my bed as it is comfortable and I find it more relaxing making it easier for me to concentrate . It is quite in the bedroom so you do not have all the noise of a household going on around you the way you would if you were at a table .

I refer to be in the table. Because I fall asleep when i do it in bed. And they say, if you are reading while lying, you will going to have a poor eyesight. And I don't want it to happen.

For reading storybooks I like to lie down on my bed and read especially during rainy days. For writing, I definitely prefer to write on my study table. I do sit and read on my study table as well but more so on the bed.

While writing I really need a table and chair. Reading can take place anywhere for me. Because I am a lazy person I do prefer the bed for reading purposes. I can lose concentration on bed sometimes but I try to keep myself focused. happy myloting!!

i think instead of reading books on bed prefer to seat properly and read. which help you in your concentration.

i know when i was in school the last thing i wanted to do was come home and sit at a table. i always sat on the couch or laid on my bed. that was the best for me!

If I am allowed I would take the bed all day long, not only for reading and writing but also for breakfast in bed, lunch in bed, dinner in bed, or if it is possible I would like to take bath in bed. The only reason is that I am lazy. But since I cannot eat in bed because it would make my bed dirty, and I cannot write in bed because the surface is not hard enough for me to write well, I would probably only read in bed. Yes I can concentrate with it, because the most important thing when you are reading (personally according to me) is that you have the most comfortable position that make you only concentrate on your reading, not your situation nor your seat. I hope that helps :)

I prefer my bed when reading or writing. It's much more comfortable and I find that I can think better when I'm comfortable. Back when I was in school, I'd always do my homework on my bed. I'd only use my study table when I'm cramming for exams and don't want to accidentally fall asleep. Nowadays, when I work at home, I usually prop some pillows up against the way, recline on them and place my laptop on my lap and I'm ready to go. =)

I would prefer atable for reading and writing becuase it is much sturdy compared with writing and reading on the bed also you can practice good posture while your doing it and it is not a good idea to read while your lying down on the bed because I have read an article that it can cause the eyes to beover fatigue.Hope you liked my response and have a nice day.
