Things to do with your cellphone

What do you guys do with your cellphones other than calling or texting? I believe most cellphones nowadays are able to do a lot of stuffs like camera, internet, videos, music etc. For me I usually listen to music and radio with my phone. I also play games from time to time when I got nothing to do. How bout you guys what do you do with your phones?

I use my phone as a camera a lot especially when I don't have my digital camera with me. I also use my phone as an alarm clock since I don't have an alarm clock in my room. Sometimes, I browse the web with my phone when I'm in a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Definitely! I also have an accelerometer on my phone so I can do a lot of other stuff to like check the number of steps I take.

Cool, I wish my phone could also use Wi-Fi. I also use my phone as an alarm clock. Its amazing how phones can be used to do a lot of stuffs :)

I had an unusual habit for a while of using my mobile phone as a night light so I could read without waking my wife up. lol. I am sure this falls outside of many of the other examples you will get! It was a pain actually because the backlight timer had a maximum of only 30 seconds or so and I had to keep pressing buttons on the phone to reactivate it. It is not easy to lay on your back, read and do this at the same time for an hour or so!

Interesting. There were also times when I also use the backlight for lighting but its very annoying cause it turns off every few seconds, It is when we experience black out and I usually use the cellphone light for lighting. Thanks for the response, happy mylotting! :)

if you're using a nokia phone.. you can solve this problem by installing something that will keep the light on until you turn the application off.

Other than calling? Not much. Sometimes I do things like flipping it really fast or trowing in the air and catching it from behind. That's how I broke my last one phone heh

Too bad your last phone broke. Well I also sometimes do things to my cellphone like spinning it in my hand. Looks like I have to be careful not to break it XD

well i do a lot more than talking on my phone lol. i always surf the internet, listen to ipod (i have the iphone), play games, take pics and basically everything else the phone. I consider this the most enternaing phone because youll never be bored with it ! Happy Mylotting! xx

Wow an iphone! It's really very popular nowadays as it can do almost anything a normal phone can do. It also has very nice features that makes me want to have one =). It's really very entertaining, also the touchscreen thingy is very good.

Aside from calling and texting I do a lot of playing games with my cellphone.. I download games from wap sites of my phone and most often from the internet.. I love playing cellphone games .. Especially the games that can be played via blutooth so I can compete with my fiends.. Happy mylotting...

Me too, I also love playing games with my phone. Downside though I don't have bluetooth in my phone so I usually play singleplayer games. I usually download games from the internet and put it on my phone too.

i'm using it as my handy dictionary. it's got oxford concise english dictionary installed so i think it's pretty useful. i'm also using it as my personal assistant because i keep memos and dates often on my phone.

Wow good to know. Using a cellphone as an organizer is also very good as you can take notes any time anywhere without a pen & paper. Also you are always updates with your meetings and schedules. Together with a dictionary Its already a very good gadget.

I use my cell to keep in touch with family and friends via phone calls and text messages, I use it to keep up with news and weather, I take some photos with it, and I also use it to surf the net, and for email. Mine is a PDA/smart phone and we travel for work so it is very handy!

Cool I wish I also have a PDA phone. They're really very handy and has a lot of uses. Also you can surf the net which is really very useful as the internet is very popular theses days.
