I am involved in the BDSM scene in Australia, and I recedntly came across what I consider to be a heart-warming story. A married male submissive who had been married for fifteen years had managed to keep his "perversion" a secrtet from his wife for all that time. By accident sher one day came across an email from his Mistress (in a BDSM sense, not his lover), and instead of spitting the dummy and throwing him out, she contacted the Mistress and arrange to meet her. The upshot of her discussion with the Mistress was that she took some training, and when she was ready, met her husband at the door one evening when he returned from work (as a site manager with a building company, just to give you some idea of his persona) dressed in boots and corset with a whip in her hands, and ordered him to his knees. They are still together in a happy Mistress/slave dynamic five years on. Having spent a lot of my life in the 'vanilla' world, where open communication seems to be almost non-existent and jealousy and possessiveness a way of life, I find the BDSM world such an open, honest place, where stories like the one above are the rule, not the exception. I imagine this story will upset the 'moral majority', but I think there are real lessons to be learned about honesty and tolerance from it. Lash
