Which countries are great for seeing native wildlife? Where would you like to travel to to see wildlife? I would love to see lemurs in Madagascar most of all. I have seen kangaroos, koalas and emus in Australia. In New Zealand I saw yellow eyed penguins and fairy penguins. It is great when I can take photos of wildlife but those sea creatures are challenging to photograph.

I live in this part of the world, but I have seen moose, bear elk, a bobcat, beaver
buffalo and deer of course. We actually have a heron that lives on our lake that I see frequently. There are alot of cool animals in the world that I would like to see.
I plan to go whale watching in December so that will be very fun.

I live near a nature center so I see a lot of critters a lot. I see a Bald Eagle about once every two weeks on average fly over my house heading to the Mississippi River for fishing I think. An awesome sight too.

I love being able to see animals in their natural habitat, rather than zoos, I hate zoos because I don't like seeing animals caged, safari parks are much much better they are allowed to roam around but still I think they should be left in their natural habitat. I love penguins I think they are cute and the way they waddle along! I would love to see a kangaroo, do they have kangaroos in New Zealand? Or just Australia? I wouldn't want to see any snakes that is one creature I would hate to come across. Koala bears you just want to cuddle I know you can't but they are beautiful creatures. I would also love to see an Aardvark!

It has always been a dream/fantasy of mine, to go on a photographic safari in Africe. Such an array of wildlife there. To be able to sit in a vehicle and have lions etc so close. I'd love it. But for now I watch deer, eagles, hawks etc here in my yard in Minnesota.

Australia is definitely up there with the best of them and Madagascar is a place I would love to see also. I have always found lemurs very amusing, especially the way they run sideways!
I would also love to visit an African Savannah, the deep rainforests of the Amazon and Borneo to see the orangutans!

I had an excellent time in Australia. I was lucky enough to see kangaroos in a few places, koalas on Magnetic Island, an ecidna in Victoria and penguins in South Australia. In the Sydney Botanical Gardens I saw white cockatoos, rainbow lorikeets in Queensland and Port Lincoln parakeets in Western Australia. I would love to see meerkats in Africa. I have seen the orangutans in Sumatra and that was a very special experience. I hope that you will travel down the River Amazon and see lots of wildlife. Happy traveling and wildlife viewing James.
