My daughter has turned thirteen and for once in my life I feel not ready. LOL Everything about it freaks me out. I know I have taught her good morals and hearing what the teens are doing today freaks me out but I trust her to make good choices.
But when we were wearing the same jeans I started to feel foolish! I don't want to be old!
How do you handle feeling the age gap with your kids?

I feel for you vicki. I went through a daughter AND a step daughter becoming teens. All you can do is give them the best guidance you know how and hope and pray they are paying attention (a common aliment amongst teens is selective deafness, which applies mostly to their parents). As for the jeans, I am 56 and still wear the same jeans as my daughter. Age is just a number after all. If you've got the body, go for it. Your daughter will probably be proud she has such a hot mama (but she will never tell you)! Wish you luck in the next 7 years or so.
