do u think cellphone is a must to a student below 15 years of age ?

No. What in the world do 13 year old kids have to talk about on the phone and more than that, who is paying the bill for them to talk about nothing? No way. I know parents say they want one to keep in touch with their kids but at that age their kids shouldn't be going too many places without adult supervision anyway.

the thing is in at all any emergency he needs tyo call to a police atleast for this reasoon needs a cell phone am i right if art all there is any other solution let me know

I would say for emergency sakes it would be ok but there isn't an emergency every second of every day for a single person. In that situation, it is a blessing that they have a phone but I still don't think they need one.

No I don't. Students are in school and when they are in school they are there to learn, not text message each other and tlak on the phone. What ever happened to passing notes in class? lol

No...i dont think so..A student of 15 years of age,i.e school student has many other things other than mobile,to enjoy life...at this age he/she shud concentrate on makin real frnds,rather than makin frndshp wid mobile...

Surely NO! I wont say that its not safe and other stuffs thinking of teenagers as kids. I would surely say its the first distraction( of course for any age) as texting is the first thing these people concentrate on! I could see the high end phones being used by most of the teenagers now a days1 :(

i don't think it is necessary for a student below 15 years of age to have a cellphone, because it may distract them from studying or learning at school...if they want to call up their parents, they have to use the school's phone and every school should provide at least a telephone for the student to call up their parents in case of emergency...

Not really.. Unless, you have a sick parent or child at home.. Or you may be into sports, where you stay after school a lot..

Everything in this world depends on how a person understands his/her role, Yes i would surely give my kids cellphones but not the hi-end cellfones for sure! just a cellphone which has call/text option to max! so that they dont misuse! why would i give them? well for having a relief that i can contact them anywhere and anytime i want to! rest i have to put an understanding in them that they dont have to use it so much that the bills costs high and not use it randomly! tat if they understand i would surely say yes its a must for every kid when he/she is understandable responsible and goes Out
