making a picture your profile pic?

Hey mylotters, I was wondering how do you make a picture you uploaded become the main picture people see when you post and make discussions? Thanks in advance!

I am a bit behind in my responses and I see that you have got the answer to your question. However, I would still like to comment on your new avatar. I think it absolutely fabulous and so cute. I just love dogs. Is it your own dog?

Yes this is my dog. His name is oscar, hense the screen name. This was him last year close to halloween. I carved the pumpkin he is sitting by and thought it would be cute to have him lay by it and pose for a picture. I thought since im on mylot so much I might as well get an avatar that isnt so lame as the generic one I had.
