Which camera should I buy ?

I am going to purchase a digital camera in a few days time . I have surfed some websites to look for relevant knowledge helpful to make a decision . Some of such articles seem to be overloaded with too much information . Moreover they have some advertising undertone . So , I prefer to have advice from real users of digicam . For your convenience I would like to give you some clue about my need and budget on the camera . My budget for the camera is around Rs.15000/- ($323). I am not going to be a professional photographer . But I must be able to upload good quality photographs to the internet sites too . So memory capacity should be good or flexible .
