With the internet so vast and available do you still buy coloring books for your kids? I don't. My kids will come to me and say they want to color and I can ask them what they want to color and I can go type it into a search engine and have a page printed in minutes. So convenient, I love it!

I still buy coloring books all the time because I have no ink for my printer and probably because we can get them off the internet they have gone way down in price . I am able to purchase a coloring book for only a dollar and this would be cheaper then the cost of my ink to print out pages for them all the time . The internet is great with all the web sites they have for children though as I have found some really good teaching games on the internet and there are a lot of nice things you can print out . I had printed out a growth chart one time and it was beautiful and would have cost me a lot more to buy it in the store and like you said , so easy and convinient .

Hi. mom4kids. Last year I have bought them coloring books. They colored in all of them and they also tore them up too!
I now have a printer that my husband has bought. When the summer comes I will print them some coloring pages off of the Internet. I do think that this is very convenient!
It beats buying coloring books. Why pay for something, when you can get it for free??

I actually do both. I love getting coloring pages from the internet. Like you mentioned, they are so easy to get. I also like that you can go to places like www.nickjr.com and print Dora coloring pages. Sometimes, the character coloring books are expensive in the store.
With that said, I still buy coloring books for my daughter from time to time. There is a Dollar Tree right next to our grocery store. If I take her shopping with me (usually about once a month), we will go inside and she can pickout a coloring book.

My kids still use regular old coloring books. My son has so many of them that I have not had to buy any new ones in a long time. My daughter recently discovered coloring and she has been going through them pretty good. Between paper and ink I think it is cheaper to buy the books still. Around here anyway.

My kids like coloring. So I still buy them coloring books. And i control their use of computers. Only during weekends and if they need it badly in school things. So their focus with their studies and other activities will not be jeopardize.

In the province kids doesn't have computer and only few of them knows how to use it. My sister's sometimes come to our house and i teach them to play the computer but they still prefer to have coloring books coz they are comfortable using it, at the same time they trained thier hands to be artistic and develop thier imagination with color combination.
Last december my husband bought them a magic coloring book and they like it.And they asked more color book next time.
