According to Exodus 20:3 it says : Remember the sabbath day to keep it holy. For seven days you shall labor but the seventh-day is the day of God. For you what is the seventh-day? 'coz we've been keeping the saturday as our holy day and as sabbath day as well. You could read your bible if you want check out the text I've written above.

Hi there Zilje! Yes, I believe that we should keep the Sabbath day Holy. I like spending my Sundays going to church in the morning and then spending quality time with the whole family afterward, for the whole day. We're not usually able to do that because we're busy studying, with our business, and other affairs but for me, that would be the ideal way of spending the Sabbath day and I love it when we do that.

hi there nanayangel! thanks for the response. I respect how you perceived the word sabbath day. But, I hope you won't mind if I'll tell you this.. God rested on the sabbath day, He blessed and sanctify that day and He really made that day special among the days throughout the week. When we say Holy, Us people whom created by Him should or must follow what was He did on this day. You could check if you mind at your bible. Exodus 20:8 Sorry it's not verse 3

Christians usually have the Sunday as the day of rest and day of God. That's why worship services usually take place on Sunday. Jews use the Saturday. Unfortunately, nowadays with our world of consumerism, stores and factories are often open 24/7. Alas, no rest, no day of God in the true sense. Is it a wonder that our world has gotten into a bad shape? I think it's time to refocus.

Yes,,it's true.. Most of the christians do rest on sundays which is a very questionable doctrine.. Why? Try to read your bible to Exodus chapter 20, you'll see there or Genesis chapter 1 God rested on the seventh-day. If you are going to check the dictionary Sunday is the first day of the week. So the seventh-day is the saturday. And this seventh-day is where God rests and sanctifies and made it very special.
