I would sa am well trusted by my boss since I am incharge of the intire accounting division of a major software company. It is very important that I do my job just right or I could be costing the company lot of money. I would say there is more trust invested in me then anyone else at the company.

Hey grevillea The question of trust by your boss depends on various factors. The word trust is such a word which can not be purchased instantly it can be acquired gradually by sincere efforts. It depends how much you are sincere, honest, loyal, devoted and how much you are thinking for the betterment of the company.I an employee of any organization thinks and starts their work keeping in view all these factors I think company or his/her immediate boss will appreciate and higher authority will show their faith/trust over the employee. To earn trust it will take long time but to ruin trust it will take seconds. I am working in Govt. sector and I do my job whatever is assigned to me sincerely ,honestly with full integrity ,devotion. Also I like my job very much and I have noticed that my boss is fully satisfied on me and he trust me. pkc3000

Trust can not be established in a day, week, month and or in a year. It is the integrity, devotion, and sincerity towards the duty assigned to us. If we are committed to our job and we are doing all these things the results would be trust the organization or a company have in us. See I am a permanent Govt.promoted company office executive. I had been dealing with the exporters who takes stocks for export. I had to do a lot of work preparing files and issuing orders for release. My way of work was as such that my foremost priority was that the client is comfortable and have no complaint. They were so familiar with me that they use to inform me in advance of their coming and half the work was gone by me in advanced the are disposed off in a little time. My District Head was so appreciable of my way of work that he trusted me than others. Now though I have no more work because the export work has been stopped, but still my present boss know how I had been working in the past and he too trust one me and I am enjoying my reputation and others use to take help from me.

Pretty certain he does yep,and if I felt that he didnt trust me then im none too sure that I could go on working for him, trust is a mutual thing, and it works both ways,if there isnt any trust there then the situation is useless,I wouldnt feel comfortable working in an environment where I didnt feel trusted,it just wouldnt feel right to me
