so anyway... some of you have received the mylot alerts saying that people would like you to write articles for them... and well, i got it too. i was really happy!!! to me, it seems that i am as good as the others whom i have really looked up to here in mylot and was really happy to earn extra money as well!!! i messaged the person, and she gave me the first assignment. but the thing is, i really have no idea on what to write about!!! i was really stuck and was struggling to thinnk of what to say. so in the end, i messaged her back, saying that i was sorry, but unable to do it. i really felt as if i have dissapointed mylot and the company. hope the reply will not be too harsh! i feel bad enough already. guess that i am only good at starting discussions but not writing real articles. thats sad...

hi there raclie. you should have asked what topic to write about. so at least you have the idea where to start. and then do some researching in books or the internet. it was an opportunity to prove your talent. hope there will be another offer that comes to your way. good luck! take care

Oh... you got that alert too? I have yet to respond to that alert. What topic did you get that you got nothing to write about? Can share a little details on how the program works? How much are you paid per article? Do you get royalties for the article after it is published?

Don't feel bad! I think enough of us have responded to that alert and found that they say they will pay you very little compared to the amount of work involved. They want a 24-hour turnaround on the assignments and they take a lot of research. Then, they only pay between $.25 and $.50 per paragraph. Even if the article would be 40 paragraphs, that's still only $20.00 AT THE MOST for a whole day's work! More likely, it would only be about 20 paragraphs at $.25 each, so that would only be $5.00 for the day's work. It would be more financially productive to just write articles about things you know and love, then submit them to magazines. If they accept one, you'd get paid a LOT more than what this person in the alert is willing to pay. I haven't heard of anyone here in myLot who has actually been paid by these people. I don't think anyone has even submitted an article! It's too much work, it's too hard and pays too little. So, don't feel bad.
