For me it was memorable bec. it was the first time that my mom allowed me to attend a party. My first night party.I invited a friend that night to be my partner.Well bec. I went to an exclusive school for girls so definitely we have to invite a date for the dance. I remembered a friend of mine liked my partner so we ended up exchanging partners. It was also the first time I tasted a punch..it's a gin tonic and juice combined. It was not allowed in school but a classmate of mine brought a jug and had mixed a punch in the jug.So since we don't drink beer we felt this kick of the alcohol and got a little tipsy. How did it went when you had your high school dance? Was it memorable too?

We are also busy studying but the high school dance is really part of the program at school and normally it's being celebrated in August. It's one way of breaking the boredom for students.

Oh I see.I think your country should have that kind of event in high school bec. that will teach teenagers to become a responsible person bec. you will be interacting with different people in a party. Probably there are some countries who prohibits parties due to customs or religious beliefs. Thanks for the reply mhrmasum.

I dind't go to any of mine. I was not really interested in the kind of music they played at the dances, and I was not interested in dating in highschool. All in all, I didn't really socialize with a lot of people until I got out of school. My husband and I met on line, and we share a lot of mutual friends, so I guess I have the friends now that I missed in highschool.
