Can we believe Google Adsense?

Hi, I hope most of you know what is "Google Adsense". It is advertising program from Google by which website owners can place ads on their websites. Website owner will earn money while users click on the ads displayed on their sites. I owned a website and put google adsense ads on it and earned upto 70 dollars. I never receive a check till now. I just found a topic on Google groups saying that Google is bluffing with Google adsense. I just wanted to find out whether anyone here is participating in Google adsense? anyone received check from Google?
