I watched the end of the Paralympics - Beijing, China yesterday and the official close of this year's games with the handover to London 2012 and the going out of the Olympic flame...
I thought it was a spectacular event and really well organised and it was such a marvel
. The dancers, the petals, the fireworks..beautiful
I am sure it may have made some people hold back a tear 
with the little girl and the singing at the end..

I watched some parts of the Paralympics opening ceremony. Unfortunately I didn't watch all of it because later my colleague told me the performance is just so fantastic. I did watch the close ceremony. It's a good show, but I think the opening ceremony will be better. I hope there will be the DVD for Paralympics later, so that I can buy and keep it at home.

It was really great and if I was in China, I would buy the DVD too for my kids to watch such a significant event

No I didn't watch any of it. As I work second shift and really I know it is bad but I just don't care. I don't watch tv that much at all. I read or do puzzels or I'm on comp. I just don't care for TV that much. Talk to you later. Your friend onlydia

I happened to catch a sneak preview of the event at work and then watched it when I got home. It was really well done I don't watch TV much either but a few events and shows, I make time after bedtime is done..

NOpe, i din watched it, all i know was that yesterday was the last day as well as the closing cermony for paralympics, andi'm also proud of those althetics whom took part in the events ^_^ ANd also, in the swimming event, our singapore swimmer got our 1st gold there, and it's even something whereby our normal abled swimmers are not able to do so.. lol =D

Yes, it was the last day of the games as well and the Olympic torch was put out and the flag handed over to London 2012

I didn't watch it since I was busy yesterday! It is a pity anyway! I am glad that u like it! Then, Chinese deserve it. They had long fight and wanna make u happy. They really kind of make it! Cheers to all of us

I did't see it as I was Mylotting all night but I did see it in the news, I can't wait till it comes over here in 2012, it would be fantastic.

Hi marina. I do and I agree with you that it was beautiful. What I liked the most is the way they treated this games in the same way that the Olympics with the same importance. Before we didn't seen this, the opening and the close were so simple. But China did well because I think that those athletes deserve much more because they are doing much more than the others athletes that are normal. I think that China did it in a fair way making this beautiful official close.

Sorry I did not get to see it. I was out and about running errands. Sometimes I do not get to watch much television, only the new mostly.
