Today is 18th of September me and my husband are supposed to spend like special moment because 18 is our wedding date...we have been married for 3 years..almost four years of being married..first stages of our married life had been tough, challenging and yet funny, loving and just wonderful for both of us..it made us mature and responsible..who wouldn't be..we have three small kids to raise...i am just reflecting on married life coz my parents marriage is on the rocky hill and next year they will celebrate their 30th year wedding anniversary..being the eldest sibling i wanna prepare something special for the two of them but im really not sure if my plans will still come into reality...they are on the verge of separation..third party is involved..its really a strong story..but i just want to know how long have you been married and what is the secret of the long married life?

I have enjoyed the 28 year of marriage which is full of happiness, tough ,challenging and loving days.we have three grown up son whom
we want to marry . at that time we were married now our son are going
to be married. it the story of next generation.

Hello,Andak!We are going to celebrate 40th year of our marriage anniversary.We are together in these days without any disturbance because we respect each other's views,feelings and emotions.We are faithful to each other and and above all committed to live together for the whole life.Ours was not a love marriage.In fact we were unknown to each other and for the first time we met each other on the fourth night.thanx.

Andak, I am not married yet but I would like to contribute something. My parents been married for 37 years and we are lucky to have them. They show us how loving, caring and understanding they to each other. They respect each other that makes things easier to move on. I hope everythings work out in your plan. Good luck!

My husband and I have been married for just a little over one year, and we hope to be married for many many more years to come. We are having a gret time in our marriage, and we are totally in love with eachother. We also have my grandparents wedding rings.

I been merried for five years now, & having one daughter, in this moment we have a complete bundle of family happy, mysecret is just understand each other & share your love to our family, if one day we dont have we need to understand that day will come but not all the time, supporting our partner that also the best way for having long life & happy merried.

i haven't been married so i cant answer the question but i still dropped by and hope you dont mind.hehehe
i want to be married to my boyfriend and i want to spend forever with him..hehe and hopefully will have our own family and be a happy mom and dad, and husband and wife. we are still planning to get married. he wants us to get married next year, but i told him, well just wait until 2010..hehe by then we should be able to save enough and know more of each other. but we have been together for almost 3 years now, and we still love each other so much like new boyfriends and girlfriends..happy!

those 3 years that you have been together will really help you get to know more each other but it is really a different thing when you are married already and have kids of your own..still new adjustments to be made...but in your case i hope things will get even more better.

i pray the same thing.. hope we will be able to do it right when it will be our turn, marrying will be a new experience for us, but along with it will be bigger responsibility for the family that we will be starting, unlike boyfriends and girlfriends, the responsibilities are not that much compared to that of married couples.. i am not afraid of the responsibilities though.. i just pray that we can work it hand in hand though faith, respect and love.

Our anniversary is in October. We will be married 7 years. We have been together 13. Wow it doesn't seem that long. For the most part we have been really happy. We have a daughter, and a son on the way! Have a Happy Anniversary!

Congratulations! Marriage life isn't an easy task to handle. It requires commitment, love, respect, loyalty and friendship. When you say I DO, commit to it coz you can't take it back anymore. I am happy for you to have a wonderful 3 kids too. I just got married last July and hoping that things will go as what we wanted to be. Goodluck!

I have still to unveil the secret of long married life!! Its been two and a half years of marriage for me now but i think love can only be the secret to a long married life. Oh, by the way Happy Aniversary! i have known my husband for about 11 years before we decided to get married but i still am not sure about the secret!

wow, 18.. we both have same date, but we differ in months,my wedding Anniversary falls on January 18.. like you, I've been maried for three years and so far those years are pretty doing good for both of us.. we have two kids now, our eldest is two years old and four months old baby girl.. It will be 14 years come this February for my husband and I. I can't tell you what the secret is to a long married life as I don't know what it is! LOL All I know is that my husband and I take the good with the bad and that is why we have been married for as long as we have.
Hmm, maybe I have something there. This could be the secret to a long married life.

We have been married for 5 years and our child is already 4 years old. I think the secret to keep a long married life is both of you shall know how to give in and be considerate and understanding. The trust is also a very important point.

Oh that touched me my friend! Thirty long years and will all go to waste just because of a third party? How sad! I wish things could still be patched up for them.
Going back to your main topic... I have been happily married for 23 years to my first boyfriend. Our relationship is going great and with God's grace... I believe this will be for life.

yeah i know the feeling but my mother already gave up on my father...she has been hurt many times...she has learned to let go and accept that the relationship is ending...i am really glad that she see things that way because the first time she was kind of hysterical..now she accepts the fact.

This December 5th will be 10 years for hubby and I. The secret? I am not sure of that..i guess maybe its because he knows I am always right..lol, j/k. Hubby and I have had alot of stuff happen in our individual lives before we met, and it seems when we are starting to ahve issues between us, we end up talking about the things we have been through and realize just how much we need each other and love each other, and then what ever the little issue we are having is, seems to disappear because it just isnt important anymore.

im glad that you can do those things with your hubby...its the exact opposite with my hubby..as much as possible we do not have to open up the past or else something will happen...he gets jealous over my ex's.
