Doctor Who/J.K. Rowling Cross.

Apparently some e-mails have been released saying that Russell T. Davies wanted J.K. Rowling to appear in a Doctor Who episode. This was after he asked her to write an episode and she "politely declined." His idea was for J.K.'s imagination to become real, thrusting the Doctor into a fantasy universe where he had to fight his way to J.K. Rowling at the center of it all. Think Doctor Who entering Diagon Alley. However, David Tennant killed the idea, fearing it would become too much of a spoof. I don't know. I can totally see the potential for both sides of the argument. What do the other fans think? Is this something that should be pursued with or without David?

Ooh, I quite like the idea. Mind you I love Dr Who so much, even the rubbish episodes I tape and re-watch. I love JK Rowling too, so to have them together would be amazing. I think that the writers of Dr Who must have such wonderful imaginations, I can't even think of one possibility for an episode, and there they are writing stonking stories again and again. Fantastic. But I thought Russell T Davies wasn't in charge any more. I thought it was the bloke who wrote the Empty Child instead now.
