Have you taken any long road trips this year?

In June we drove from our home in Tennessee to our daughter's home in Iowa. It took about 12 hours to make the trip, but we took turns driving and drove straight through. The same with the return trip. We only lived 10 miles from I24 in Tennessee, and we were able to take interstates all the way until our turn-off in Iowa which made the trip faster. The only big city we had to go through was Nashville, and it's really an easy city to get through unlike some others we've been through. Then, in late July, we made the trip back to Iowa but this time with U-Haul trucks as we had decided to move back nearer our family. My stepson was driving one of the trucks, and he insisted we go a different route through St. Louis. We drove the same speed as on previous trips, but it took us 15 hours that way. We had no choice but to drive right on through, and we were exhausted when we arrived in Iowa.

Ah no I haven't but I did last year. We went across Normandy to Brittany (in France) it was great. Planning to do one next year though, probably Europe again. Would love to ride across the states, perhaps when I retire.

I had taken a long road trip to a water dam along with my friends on a bike near bangalore..it was a memrable...we had a compettion of reaching the highest speed one of my friends touched 120kmhr...my bike was not supporting more than 80..it was on a highway..full of challenges..

my family and i took a road trip to eaurope last week. it was pretty crazy.
