Is Anyone Else Looking Forward To The Coming Of Fall???

I hate to see summer go but if I have to see it go, then I love seeing it replaced by the coming of fall. I love the weather that comes along with the fall season. There's always a pretty little breeze blowing, the air is fresh and there's the promise of a whole new year in front of us. I love to see the leaves change color and fall to the ground in so many pretty little arrays. It's my favorite season right after summer....
Is anyone else looking forward to the coming of Fall, or is it just me? LOL...If so, tell us why...

Summer is beautiful when its sunny and warm - but not when its humid and sweaty. Fall is spectacular when the leaves turn color and fall - but not when its gloomy and dark. Winter is wonderful when the snow flakes start falling and its white everywhere (.... somewhere!!!!) but not when its freezing cold. Spring is gorgeous when it rains and the flowers start blooming and the trees turn green and the birds start singing and the butterflies start flying ......... - but not when its time to prepare your tax returns!!!!!!!

Oh you have no clue! lol. Desert summers are SO hot and SO long! Like a week into summer i'm already counting down to fall!!! It's slowly getting cooler, in the 80's today. I keep hoping that it's gonna get cooler earlier this year.

Hi! Fall is also my favorite season. After the summer months, I would always welcome its coming. I am not a native of the U.S. but I would go to upstate New York to see the changing of the color of the leaves. For me, it's so majestic! I like living here in the States because there are four different seasons. There is always something to look forward to. Not boring! But of course, fall is the best! Happy myLotting!

I agree! Fall is the most beautiful season. Trees are full of color. I love walking in the leaves and hearing them crunch. Being a night person, I like that it gets dark earlier. It's so much nicer to take the little ones out in the backyard and just enjoy the cool weather rather than sit out there and get smothered by heat. The mornings are so nice and cool here now and the evenings are too. Sometimes, I like to sit out in the swing with a cup of coffee after dinner and just chill out now. I never do that in summer time.

I know, I completely agree. I'm finding myself going out a lot more now that the cooler weather is here. Just yesterday I went downstair with the niece and nephew and they played on my porch, while I sat on the porch swing and played with my new puppy Marius. It's such beautiful weather that we're getting these days. I'm trying to enjoy it all that I can before winter comes. NO THAT is one season that I hate!!!

I'm with you. I love the sunsets, the colors of the trees, the little coolness in the air. I put the flannel sheets on the bed, keep the bedroom window open and just snuggle under the sheets loving their warmth and enjoying the little breezes that come through the open window. I start burning the fall scented candles, the apple cinnamon etc.

Wow, that sounds so nice. I'm going to have to go out and buy me some Cinnamon candles now LOL...It really is a great season because it's not too cold and it's not too hot. Everything smells fresh and it's invigorating. It's an awesome season! I just wish that it lasted a little longer and wasn't followed so closely by winter. Oh well, I guess we can't have it all, can we?
