Can you say no to this words? I myself can't resist the urge to check on every store that has a red sign that says SALE. I end up buying things I don't need, but because it is on sale I bought it anyway. Even on online shopping I click first the button with the word sale or clearance. How about you guys? can you resist it? It is a word that lures us all to spend more, but it is so nice to see it right? Can you say no to the word SALE?

It depends on what's on SALE and if I am going to use it or if my children will.

Hi there! I don't usually go to stores on sales. I find it hard to shop and choose items cause of too much crowd in it. Sales really does attracts a lot of consumers who wants to buy items at a cheaper price. But when I get to see a store on sale without too many people, I do check it out. But if it starts to get crowded I just leave. Ciao!

You know, I've gotten a lot better at it, although there are some times that I still cannot stop when I see those words. It's hard, because my mind instantly begins to think that I am getting something for a discount or at a price that is reduced. Lately, though, I've taught myself to "ignore" it somewhat and to remember that we need to save a little more money per month in order to make sure we're doing okay. So I guess I would say yes, I can say no to the word "SALE", but I don't always want to. ;-)

I simply can resist SALE!!!! Especially at the mall, when they have sale I get in and look for clothings that I like and if I have size, I grab and bought it!!! I really love shopping on sale..... Because I can buy lots of things in just a small amount to spend... Especailly now a days that our economy is really low, most of the people buy things on sale or in wholesale to have a cheaper deal... Just like last two weeks, all SM malls are sale, I really cant resist to look and buy even if there's a lot of crowded people looking also... I don't cake as long as I look and check the product and I'll fit it... There's this instance that I'm looking at a shoe store, I asked for the size of a peep toed shoes, then there's a lady who look at the shoes I'm fitting and he asked for the her size but they don't have her size!!! LOL... (I'm bad!!!) Then theres another lady, I picked on the sandals, look at it and fit it, then I placed it back, she grabbed it instantly, asked for her size and she never drop that shoes from her arms as we (my family) went ot of that store... LOL!!! That happens on sale, so when I like a product, I let it reserved and comes back to buy it so that no one can get that product away from me... LOL!!!

Yes I do resist the word sale since I do not like to go shopping much. I only buy items when I really need them.

I can resist these signs and sales in general in most places except the supermarket! I am a sucker for new products and foods and always seem to get caught up in the two-for-one offers and new products that they display everywhere. When it comes to things I can eat I am easily influenced!

Yes, I can say no to the word sale. I have long been able to differentiate between needs and wants. What I'm on the lookout for are sales of things that I or my family are really in need of. I don't know, but it seems that real necessities are seldom on sale. Of course there are a few times when I gave in to wants, but considering my financial situation, I have always seen how these lapses have in the long run negatively affected my situation.

Last time I could not resist to all these words Sale, clearance, mega sales and so forth. But now after I have been working for quite some time,I have started to make myself resist to all those sales in order to save more money. It's very hard to earn every penny,so now I am trying hard on saving more money to buy more necessary things.

I can't also resist when I read something like sales or marked down. Like last week, its not my intention to buy or look for pants. I just came over to have my lunch at the mall. My sight stumble on the red sign "SALE" and I go check it out. When I was in the BNY section, I saw their jeans have mark down prices. Well, who would resist to buy a 200 pesos jeans. It has good quality which usually range 600 to 700 pesos a piece. I eventually grab one and fit it, then I ended up myself over the counter. A good quality jeans at a very low prices, almost everything I bought is on sale or being marked down.

Those words call to me! I never buy anything that I can't use, or give as a gift, but I often buy things that I don't need. My husband hates to see the flyers for the craft stores coming into the house, becuase it means that I will look them over really well, and decide that I really should go shopping - after all I have a COUPON. He has to admit though, that as a result, I often have our Christmas shopping done early, and cheaply!

Its quite easy for me to resist. I'm always broke! Right now I am about 200 dollars overdrawn and I won't get another check for two more weeks. Great. I don't shop for anything but food - I can't afford anything else. Heck, I can barely afford food!

no way! If I am in the store, I have to check it out... I am always checking out sales... people think I am crazy... I even went as far as finding the best deal on a 2 Liter of soda once ... lol my mom thought I was crazy but by the time we were done I think I made it from $1.79 and dropped it down to $0.75 lol... I am such a bargain shopper lol

I am the same way!! My hubby always makes fun of me, because everytime I see the word 'sale' or 'clearance' I freak out & have to go in the store & he always says: just because there's a sale doesn't mean you need to look. lol. :) I've gotten a lot better about my shopping habits, especially now that I'm not working & have an "allowance". Thankfully, I'm able to control myself better than before

Hello!!I love the word SALE. I end up going through shops for hours and hours, searching for bargians, and ending up buying things I don't need at all. However, every time in know that the sale period is near I start planing on which days to go and where to go shopping. Happy mylotting!!

My dad used to say "Just because it's on sale, doesn't mean you have to buy it". When I was a teenager, I would always be enticed by the word SALE - I couldn't resist (especially since the only money I had was from my allowance". However, when I started working, I realized how difficult it was to make my own money - so I definitely became more careful and I I can now resist the word sale. I think this word has been hotwired into our system so that most of us can't resist the offer of a bargain - whether we need the item or not.
