eating and reading at the sametime?? Any of you do that?

I eat and read only if I'm eating alone. I'm not sure why I do it though. It just seems right for some reason.

well i guess you dont like eating alone and the books keep you company. Me too. I actually get figity when I dont read and eat. Its too boring. Thanks for your reply

Me too. I generally dont like talking to anyone when Im eating . However most of the time I have to eat with my family but i enjoy my food the most, especially if its pasta or pizza, when I eat alone with a good book. Thanks for your response

I actually enjoy eating alone- I can eat my food while it's still hot, lol! Usually I eat with my hubby and 4 kids.

No, I don't. I can't concentrade on my reading when I eat at the same times and beside I will miss out the real taste of my foods if I concentrade on my readings....I don't want to miss out either one:) Doctor advise not to read while eating too........not really good for your health...

Ohh well... to each his own. I feel that the taste of my food really comes alive when im reading. I actually find it very boring to only eat without doing something else like reading, watching tv etc. Thanks for your response.

No iI cannot do that, If I am eating i only eat and if I am reading then I only read, you know that very well. But I also know that you eat and read at the same time. hehehehe

Yes I do. But I like to read while doing almost any activity eg. read and eat, read in the loo, on the bus/train, waiting for someone, while watching TV unless something holding my attention is on. Basically I am a voracious reader so it is read with any other possible activity.

Me too and here i thought i was one of the few who read in the loo. Thanks for sharing that with us. Im a voracious reader as well. What do you like reading?? are you into fiction or non-fiction?? I prefer fiction

I do that all the time. It's like a habit and sometimes my friend would ask me how do I do that. I don't really know... It comes naturally I guess. lolz.

lo. cool. I love eating and reading. Surfing the net while eating is also possible however I dont want to get my keyboard dirty so i just surf when im eating sandwiches. Thanks for your response

I also love to do this. I can only do it when I eat after my kids or if my husband is not home as it seems rude to ignore everyone at the table. I often do it when I eat lunch though.

No way. I don't like to sit for a while and eat. I eat to live. I eat when i am hungary and not for pleasure. I don't like to do things while i eat, but eat, so no i don't read while i eat.

Yes, I read and eat at the same time. I do it because Ilove to read AND eat! lol So why not do them at the same time???
