Do you leave spare key outside your house (in the plants, door mat...etc)?

LOL =D I used to do that many many years ago when i still have plants along the corridors outside my house.. BUt after sometime, when we start to protect our keys and always remember to bring them along, we no longer hide spare keys under anything.. hehe =D Because it's such a common sight everywhere in my country in the past, till the thieves also know where to get the spares.. lol =D So at this age and time, i guess not many ple will do that anymore.. ANd if we forget, we can only wait outside the house till someone comes home.. haha

I have a spare key but I never leave it hiding somewhere when I am out.The thing is I will get more worried if I do that,I had tried it once,I left my key in one of the flower pot's,we went out for a movie and my brother wasn't at home,I left the key for him and guess,what,I came back leaving the movie hall in between because I was so worried that somebody or thief might find the key.It is also not a good idea to leave the keys in such places,anyone can find it.Now,I keep it only with my trusted neighbours whenever I go out and somebody needs to drop by in my house.Good day!

yeah, that's risky. we used to leave one keys like that in somewhere in front of home. but, due to the safety reason, we don't do that anymore. instead, everybody have his own key. there are times also when the 'new policy' result trouble. i sometimes forget and leave my key at office (as i don't like to keep it in my pocket, so i just usually leave it in my locker and take it again when i am coming home. but sometimes i forget it and have to come back to the office.

no ma'am i do't. don't think that's such a good idea. my neighbor has a key if i need it.

We have 5 people in our house but we only have 2 alarm keys for the house. So, if we went out, there are some who don't have the keys, that's why some time we will keep the key somewhere around the compound and call the other family member to let them know where is the key. We can't duplicate the alarm keys, so we have no choice but to hide it somewhere at the compound.

No.. I think that's not a good idea.. Knowing the thief they will surely know that idea and will easily find your key.. Each of us, my mom, my brothers and sisters have duplicate keys each so we don't need to left any spare keys.. happy mylotting..

Definitely not! A savvy thief will always look for spare keys and is very highly likely to find them! My Auntie had her house robbed once by a thief who used their hidden key to enter the house. I would not hide a spare key myself in this way for fear of the same happening.

Hi. Nice to meet you here. I didnt meet such problems yet. I didnt put any spare keys outside my house. But i will bring spare keys with me everytime i go out. Few of my friends do like you. They put a spare key inside their shoes outside their house for safety. For me i dont think it is secure because if unluckily thief found it then they can go in easily. So i will worry when i am going out to shopping. Happy myloting!!!
