who handles the budget/bills in your house??you or your spouse??

It is a sharing. Every one has there own obligation which is great. I guess we are more equally shared by the stress if the bills come. so, i like it that way.

My husband and I both make money in our house. We both work and put all of our money together to get the bills paid. His check goes directly into the bank, direct deposited and I then make sure that all of the bills are paid on time. I have a very strict budget so each week I take a certain amount out of our earnings and put it in the budget for the house payment, the car payments, the groceries, insurance, doctors bills, utilities and of course vacation. This way everything is paid on time and we always have money left over for vacationing and to go out for dinner, but don't end up overspending.

MY husband does, he is much more better in handling our finances than me. As soon as i get my pay or even before that i am already thinking of where to spend the money. Most of it goes to food, pizza, ice cream and so much more. I told him he should be the one to handle the finances and our money since he is the one who really wants to have savings. Hello! In my family i am the lone earner and my wife manages the finance.I don't mind what she does with the money,but at the end of every month she saves some money which I deposit in the bank for emergency use.I think ladies are the best managers of finance.Thanx.

I do it personally. The groceries, the budget and the bills. Since everything is payed online it's not much of hassle except for the groceries. Honestly, I don't have my budget computed in paper but I try to see that I'm not spending more than 300-500 pesos in a day.

My mom does handle all the bills and budget in my house. She tells the amount of money required at the month beginning and thats the only thing I know about handling a house.
