New Virus out there, do you have it?

Hello all, hope all is well.
Theres a new nastie out there.
Its Behaveslike:win32.explorerhijack
I noticed it being picked up on a freinds MS Mail program. Probably didnt have the latest updates Im thinking.
I put it on my machine and BitDefender picked it up and quarantined it ok.
Let me know if you pick it up. Im curious as to when it becomes widespread.
Hey, Also let me know what computer security products you are using.
And, other steps you take to stay safe, like do you use Hijack This or CCleaner regularly.

Thanks for the heads up douchrti. Sounds like you may be right about your friend not having the latest updates. My virus protection software is McAfee and it automatically scans and installs updates for me. Maybe he should invest in a virus protection software himself. It is certainly worth every penny of the purchase to be protected and not worry about getting the latest updates.

WOW I didnt know MS Mail was still out there and in use, I thought it went away with NT351 or NT4 was the last that I saw of it. I guess I wont have to worry about it then. if it is coming in through a corporate email system that MS Mail was used for.
That is a shame that some company has not upgraded to something newer than MS Mail. which is an old program.
